Meet Pokemon Crow. It’s on display this week–thru Halloween at Historic Columbia. This is a group effort to create the Scarecrow display…now it’s time for us to GO find the Pokemon Crow!
Stop by any day at your convenience–-to explore the garden and grounds. Robert Mills House at 1616 Blanding Street, Columbia. There’s a parking lot around the corner on Henderson Street, for closer access to the garden area. Please take a selfie with our contestant–and send it to us at firstname.lastname@example.org or post on our Facebook page
Or attend the community Trunk or Treat on Friday, October 28th at 5:30pm–where you can also vote for your favorite scarecrow. We hope it’s Pokemon Crow! Please take a selfie with our contestant–and send to us at email@example.com or post on our Facebook page. Click here for all the details about Trunk or Treat costume contest, scarecrow contest and trunk contest.
We’ve been on a winning streak for the past couple years. Our Scarecrows have won the popular vote (with online votes and paper ballots on site.) Check out REACH’s previous scarecrows:
2015: Edgar Allen Crow
2014: There’s Waldo
We’ve had a lot of fun creating these scarecrows. We’ve had a lot of fun following the popular votes online–and sharing them with folks who weren’t able to come see them in person.
This year’s voting is only on-site at the Trunk-or-Treat community event. Unfortunately, online voting is not available this year. We would love to see everyone have fun and actually GO find our Pokemon Crow! So please send us your photos for a follow-up post with all the selfies: email firstname.lastname@example.org or post on our Facebook page.
Thanks for playing along with us! And thanks for Historic Columbia hosting this opportunity!
