REACH is set up a little different from some of the other groups around. So, we often try to explain that our group is like a Sam’s Club or Costco. Where you have to join as a member to access the store. Then once you are inside you can add anything else to your cart that you like…or just try all the free samples.
REACH is like that. We have a basic membership fee to get into our group. That includes lots of free stuff if that’s all you want. You to start by joining REACH. It’s $16/year for the parent (it’s your support, not matter how many kids you have). Also no matter when you join during the year, it still cost $16. There’s always plenty of support and meet-ups to get your money’s worth out of it, even if you join mid-year. Annual membership expires June 30.
But, you can add on lots of other opportunities that have additional fees for those who sign up or add-on these activities and services. The biggest add-ons are REACH the TOP and/or weekly co-ops.
REACH the TOP is our 3rd Option Accountability. You need an accountability group–just one though. So, if you’ve already got accountability coverage, but want to participate in REACH’s support group, you don’t need to add on RTT. If you want to get to RTT accountability, you must 1st join REACH (even if you never participate). RTT is an upgrade or add-on to REACH support group.
REACH co-ops meet weekly in several locations. Choose a location and class schedule that you would commit to attending for 14 week session. We have Fall and Spring registrations that you can add-on one session at a time. That way, you change it up mid-year. Drop out or jump in at the mid-point of the year.
REACH the TOP Registration Process
RTT (3rd Option Accountability) is a 2-step process. The process is automated and should walk thru it step-by-step. Here’s what to expect as you go:
#1: First you need to join REACH support group.
That is your membership, no matter how many kids you have. It gives you access to our parent group where you can get advice from others about curriculum and activities. Plus lots of meet-up opportunities for socialization.

- Create a username/password that you can remember
- Pay $16 registration fee
- Fill out the REACH application.
You should be automatically advanced thru these steps. Once you complete the application, you will get an automated email confirmation with a copy of the information you provided so you can check for any typos (especially in the contact information). Admins will connect you to the email newsletter, text alerts and Facebook group.
#2: Then, you will have the option to add-on RTT accountability.
This is where you enter a legal agreement to abide by the homeschool law…and we agree to hold you accountable to that. We will issue documents to the school that verifies that your student is now exempt from compulsory attendance and they can release the student from their rosters. The registration process should automatically allow you to proceed to this step.

- Complete the REACH the TOP application
- Pay fees ($15/student plus transcript fees for high school)
You will get an automated email confirmation with a copy of the information you provided so you can proofread for any typos. This information will be used to create your compliance documents—please be sure we have accurate information. RTT director will contact you with information about your membership status and issue paperwork.
