We are looking for interactive, hands-on workshops for the Homeschool Expo on June 16th. We have designated a space for about 30 seats with some demonstration tables. We have scheduled about 45 minutes per presentation (with a 15 min transition time for set up/clean up).
Workshops can be geared toward parents/teachers or kids/parents. This will not be a drop-off activity, so children should always be accompanied by an adult chaperone when they attend your workshop. Note that the workshop presentations should be inclusive–regardless of educational philosophy, political affiliation, ethnic background or religious preference.
Instead of one big workshop presentation, ongoing demonstrations can be set up at a vendor space. The shoppers can stop by to interact for a teachable moment. We would love to work out a space for that as well. Once we know what your idea is, we can work out a price/space for that (like if you need a space for a jumpy house or karate mat)

We do not have funds at this time to compensate presenters/speakers. We appreciate your willingness to participate with us as community service opportunity. We will do our best to find a place to showcase what you have to offer the homeschool community.
We’d love to hear your ideas. Our admins will consider your proposal and get in touch with you personally to discuss more details.
