Semester registration fee: $10/student (ages 5+) up to $30/family. This is a building fee to pay for their utilities and supply costs…and as a thanks for letting us use their facility. Each class or club may have a supply fee, which covers the entire semester as well.  You must first join REACH ($16 per year per family) in order to register for co-op.

Parents are required to assist in some way during each class hour that their student(s) attend, No drop offs.
In order to provide this opportunity at a low-cost, we rely on committed participants. Your weekly attendance is essential to make this a successful endeavor.

Spring 2018  Schedule: Wednesdays

10:00 – 10:50 am Class Descriptions

Tot time for birth to age 4
Come play with us! We will play with toys, read stories, play games, dance to music and have arts and crafts while older siblings attend classes. If weather permits, we will play on the playground.

Class maximum: 18
Cost: $5 per semester for age 18 months and up, for arts and crafts supplies. Infants are free.
Parents will need to bring snacks for their child (ren) and a bottle or cup as well as adequate diapers/pull ups or change of clothes if new to using the potty.
Two or more adults will be in the room at all times-Parents will rotate weekly/hourly.
We will separate the infants into another room if needed.

Story Stretchers Club ages 5-9
Each week, we will read a picture book and do a related activity. Parents who sign up for this class will be taking turns leading the lesson and/or reading the book. A list of suggested books and activities will be provided. Such as: Miss Spider’s Tea Party (followed by a tea party activity) and Nate the Great (followed by a scavenger hunt “dectective” game).

Harry Potter  ages 9+

Do you love Harry Potter? We do! In this class, we will take segment from the books to conduct spellwork and activites to become some of the brightest wizards in the land.

Games and Lego Club ages 8-12
Board games for kids. Cooperative games and competitive. Bring your favorites to play with others (because sometimes it’s hard to get your family to play with you!) Also, some Lego activities.

Life Skills and Cooking Club ages 10+
We will learn about some basic lifeskills: Map reading, using a newspaper, basic hand sewing, making a meal plan/shopping list, caring for house plants and composting, recycling, first aid, plus some simple recipes. Parents will be asked to take turns leading lesson activity (from a list of suggested skills and activities).

Controversial issues: we’ll be using knives and working around the stove.
