Semester registration fee: $10/student (ages 5+), limit $30/family, a building fee to pay or donate to the building for their utilities and supply costs. Each class or club may have a supply fee, which covers the entire semester as well.  You must first join REACH ($15 per year per family) in order to register for co-op.

11-12:30p.m. Class Descriptions

Tot time every week – birth to age 4
All day mixture of P.E., yoga, reading, craft, math, numbers, ABC’s, and whatever else us mom’s come up with to occupy their busy learning minds.

Parents will need to bring snacks for their child (ren) and a bottle or cup as well as adequate diapers/pull ups or change of clothes if new to using the potty.
This is a parent run class.   Of course, you are welcome to wear your little one when helping with the older ages.

Lego Club:  1st/3rd weeks – ages 3-8
We will be using Legos to build, build, build!  We will have Duplos for the younger children and traditional sizes for the older students.  Each week we will offer free play, some project ideas and some challenges.  At the end of class there will be an opportunity for Show & Tell.  For the Show & Tell portion you can create something during class or bring it from home to share.  Feel free to bring in your own Legos, but we will also have plenty available.

Art: every week – ages 5-17
We will be exploring art by learning about the great artist and imitating their work and styles.  Students will be using a variety of art materials with a hands on approach.  Students are encouraged to express themselves through their artwork and encouraged to do their very best no matter what their ability level.

Students will need a set of watercolor pencils, see links below.

We will have a variety of games available for children of all ages to play including several chess sets.  Games will be picked and taught (if necessary) each week by the parents.

STEM club/human body – 1st/3rd weeks  – ages 5-10
Each week, we’ll explore part of the STEM acronym.  This class term will focus on the human body – circulation, brain, digestive, skeleton, muscles and a final wrap-up class where students will make their body- life-sized!
Controversial issues: Safety when working with possible toxic or sharp materials. By toxic, we mean borax and glue for making slime.
Parent involvement: This is a parent rotation club, not taught by an instructor. Parents will need to assist with or lead at least one activity. We will set up a schedule for parents to sign up which week(s) they will be assisting and/or leading.

Each week we will work together and learn how to make our writing sparkle!  This class will focus the craft of writing, the enjoyment and excitement we can bring to our writing and how to make our readers want more.  In class reading and writing not a required skill.   We will work on group writing with some take home assignments.
