It’s nearly here: Our 1st Ever HOMESCHOOL EXPO! It’s Saturday, June 17th at Jamil Temple, 206 Jamil Road, Columbia, SC 29210. 
Our best advertisement is word-of-mouth. So, please tell all your friends!

As you’re planning for selling with us, here’s what you can expect:

  • Over 40 from local vendors with resources, products and services for homeschoolers
  • Hands-on/interactive workshops and panel discussions from veteran homeschoolers
  • The Documentary Movie: Class Dismissed
  • Over 30 used books sellers, too
  • Raffle prize drawing for family 4-pack to Medieval Times in Myrtle Beach



Doors open for shoppers at 10 am. Admission is free!
Open to the public—homeschoolers, teachers and parents welcome!

  • Vendors please check in for your table location and get your name tag upon arrival–before you unload so you can locate the nearest entrance to your space.
    **You may also shop before the doors open to the public.
    ** We have one hand truck available to assist your loading/unloading.
  • The facility does have wifi, though we don’t know how strong signal or how fast the bandwidth once we all tap into it.

Used Book Sellers: Sale Day info

  1. Your space is an 8-foot table with a foot or so space between you and the next vendor. There is one chair provided with your space.
  2. Bring your own cash box with small bills and change. Three ATMs on site if you need to make change.
  3. Label grade levels on price tags. Group items together by subject or levels to help potential buyers find what they’re looking for.
  1. Plan to give % off bargains toward the end of the sale. Make signs to indicate.
  2. To give you more time to browse and shop, you might consider recruiting a helper. If you bring children, please supervise them at all times. Do not let children wander the vendor hall unsupervised. REACH does not accept responsibility for their safety.
  3. Concessions will be available–including hamburgers, chicken fingers and corndogs, plus soft drinks and snacks. Proceeds benefit Shriner’s Children’s Hospital. Cash only

  1. Clean your area as you leave. Do NOT leave books or materials behind for “FREE.” Leftover items can be consigned with Home School Books for Less. Contact LoveTeach4kids@aol.com for a contract and arrange a meet-up.

Business vendors and Crafters: Sale Day Info

  1. Your space is 10×10 with an 8-foot table and a chair provided in your space. You can arrange additional table or shelves in your area as you wish. The spaces back up to another vendor, without a wall divider between you.
    (Except: if you arranged to bring your own table/chair, then it’s just the floor space).
  2. If you accept cash, please bring your own cash box with small bills and change. Three ATMs on site if you need to make change.
  3. If you bring children, please supervise them at all times.
